Informatics
I major in Informatics at Indiana University, with a cognate in Business. I chose to major in Informatics because of my interest in the intersection of technology, data, and human behavior. Informatics is an interdisciplinary approach to computer science and information systems. I enjoy the versatility of the major in the current landscape of technology innovation. I chose to focus my studies in business technology because I wanted to have some education from the Kelley School, and to push my knowledge into the realm of business technology and database management. I have a passion for shaping the digital world that we live in, and am excited for what the future holds.
Career Goals
My career goals are to be able to work in web design or a related field, and create user friendly interfaces with creative touches that can really improve the look and feel of a website. I enjoy web design because it allows me to add some creativity to the work that I am doing, while also enhancing usability. By integrating innovative design principles and staying abreast of the latest technological advancements, I aim to create seamless and intuitive digital experiences. I hope to be able to create both aesthetically pleasing websites that also incorporate accessibility for all users. I want to have an impact on the digital sphere with the designs that I create.

Trip Management Site
As part of my Information Infrastructure course, I embarked on a dynamic project that delved into the realm of virtual environments through Flask. I coded a website, employing a combination of Jinja, HTML, and Python. Throughout the semester, I diligently worked on updates and optimizations to enhance the site's functionality and user experience.
This project not only showcased my technical abilities but also my dedication to continuous improvement. It reinforced my ability to adapt and innovate within the ever-evolving digital landscape, a skillset I'm eager to bring to future endeavors.
Melody's Music Makers
In my i308 course, my team and I honed our skills in SQL, HTML, and PHP to develop a dynamic website tailored for business needs. Our project focused on creating a user-friendly platform for running queries and summarizing vital data. Our mock client, an instrument rental and lessons company owner, provided invaluable insights.
This project, which served as our course's final assignment, showcased our ability to merge technical expertise and practical problem-solving. Attached below are the relevant project files, highlighting our commitment to delivering results-driven solutions.
